Greetings Saints, this message comes from the Office of the Bishop for the Historical Louisiana First Jurisdiction.

The purpose of this message is to inform you that the Bishop’s Office has been notified that several individuals who attended the recent Worker’s Meeting on March 12-14 in Shreveport, LA, have tested positive for the COVID-19 (coronavirus). Due to privacy laws, we cannot disclose the identity of these persons. However, we can relay that the individuals who tested positive were present on the platform/stage, the choir, and the audience.

We are urging all individuals who attended the recent Worker’s Meeting to contact your primary care physician or your local Urgent Care providers. Please follow the necessary protocols for the COVID-19 testing, especially if you have had any of the symptoms such as fever, coughing, body aches, or nausea. Please continue to take all necessary precautions going forward for disinfecting, self-quarantine, and heeding to the directives given by our government and medical officials.
